Data East Jurassic Park is a great looking game! However the three scoops (Control Room, Bunker, Power Shed) are a major feature and they're let down by the boring and dated-looking lamps with plastic covers and no signage.

Our Backlit Signs Set is a Jurassic Park pinball mod that dramatically improves the scoops with the addition of striking hand-made backlit signs above each scoop.
True to the original game artwork
We feel strongly about honoring the vision of the original artist. If you look at the DMD during System Boot mode you'll notice Data East artists indeed designed icons to represent each scoop. However they don't appear anywhere in the artwork.
Our Backlit Sign designs are adapted directly from the DMD animation, so you can be sure that the designs are true to the original game artwork. The green top lamp icons tie into the System Boot mode, featuring a on/off power symbol.
A mod that meaningfully improves gameplay
Strong visual cues help newcomers understand the game more easily. They keep you clear about what CHAOS shots are lit amongst the frantic tri-ball action, and they'll help you nail your shots!

Completely reversible
The signs mount sturdily onto existing playfield posts near the scoops so they only take a few minutes to install — just remove a few lock nuts. You can also use washers of your choice if you are concerned about damaging the plastics.
LEDs
These signs are best used with LEDs rather than the standard bulbs. Many owners already have their own LEDs installed so they are not included. Concave lens or Flex LEDs tend to work best because they direct the light at the icon artwork with minimal light spillage onto the playfield. White or coloured LEDs will work, it's up to your preference. White allows all of the colours in the artwork to be most visible.
